Insiders Club Loyalty App goes contactless and adds new resort in response to COVID-19

In June 2020, the Riverside Majestic Hotel Kuching and Grand Margherita Hotel Kuching enhanced their Insiders Club Loyalty App by adding several new features in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. These features included contactless mobile check-in, contactless food ordering, and contactless digital room service, enabling guests to minimize physical contact and stay safe during their stay.
The hotels' subsidiary resort, Damai Beach Resort, also joined the Insiders Club Loyalty App, making it the largest digital loyalty program in Sarawak at that time. The upgrade to version 3.0 of the app also included an improvement of the rewards system. In addition, the hotel revamped the whole app's user interface and design theme.
Since its launch in November 2018, the Insiders Club Loyalty App has been a huge success for the hotel chain, attracting over 10,000 members in its first month and continuously adding new features and hotels to the platform. The app's success demonstrates the value of digital loyalty programs in the hospitality industry and the importance of adapting to changing circumstances, such as the COVID-19 pandemic."
