Hello Hospitality Technology made possible for Kuching Park Hotel to become Malaysia's 1st Smart Hotel

In August 2022, Kuching Park Hotel became the first smart hotel in Malaysia after converting to a digital hotel with the help of Core System Technologies. The traditional hotel in Kuching partnered with Core System Technologies to implement various technologies, including a digital loyalty program, mobile check-in, digital room service, a room booking engine, food and beverage ordering, and promotional deals. In addition, Kuching Park Hotel became the first hotel in Sarawak to offer mobile key capabilities to guests.
To support their front office operations, Kuching Park Hotel also installed Hello Kiosks, which allow for self check-in and check-out. In the guest rooms, the hotel implemented smart room automation, allowing guests to control the lighting, air conditioning, and other features through a mobile app or smart speaker. The hotel also introduced a room service robot to deliver items to guests.
The process of planning, setting up, installing, training, and implementing the technologies and hardware at Kuching Park Hotel began in March 2022 and was completed in July of the same year. The hotel began its trial run in August 2022, and the success of the smart hotel has been met with praise and excitement in the industry.
